One of our Richards Bay 200 projects for the year is to help the local SPCA with their wiggle waggle fun walk. This past weekend was the start of “phase 1” and this involved us helping the SPCA with some general work and Marshalling.

SPCA Wiggle Waggle Fun Walk

Duncan Fouche, Melody Fouche, Neil Strydom, Miss. Strydom, Johan Potgieter and Natalie Potgieter all met at 8.00 AM and were excited and raring to go. The SPCA reps brought us some bibs and we were asked to go out and help at different water points.  We were stationed all over the place and we met the walkers with fun and enthusiasm and we also had some ice cold water on hand for all of those in need. We also filled some special water trays for the doggies.

After this, we went straight into a fellowship. All those who attended went to braai at the Richards Bay Ski Board Club and boy was that fun. But low and behold…..the fun did not stop here. We all moved to Neils house and continued our fellowship right into the night.

Was certainly a day to remember
