On Saturday 29 September 2020 Round Table Ballito 221 club and its members along with guests and dentaries from within Round Table South Africa came to the club to join them in their first social meeting since the start of the lockdown. On this day, the members also took it upon themselves to Induct their newest member Mr. Alex Mc Ivor.
Three Round Tables (Durban 2, Umhlanga 155, and Ballito 221) donated over 700 blankets to local NPO & NPC Matthew 25:35 as part of the Round Tables National Project Winter Knights Project.
A while back Round Table was contacted by Shane Webster, the CEO for Nashua Durban and previously owner/operator of Nashua Zululand. Shane had mattresses he wanted to donate and asked the Mtunzini 250 club to help distribute them in the local community.
Round Table Mtunzini 250 started their Winter Knights Campaign by asking local business for their assistance in donating items of clothing, non-perishables, money to the National Project.
After 68 years as nomads Durban 2 finally got their own clubhouse. It was time for them to do a few clubhouse renovations.
Richards Stone called Duncan Fouche from RB200 to ask for assistance in welcoming the 25 Internationals for the Owen Frye tour. Duncan & Melody Fouche jumped at the opportunity and they went down to Durban on the Saturday to welcome them. They spent Saturday and Sunday with them and hosted them again in Richards Bay on Wednesday.
